This list is sponsored by the National Federation of the Blind, NFB. The name of this list is NFB-Conventions. The purpose of the list is to support our members, Chapters, Divisions, and Affiliates in all convention-related activities. The list is here to facilitate the exchange of announcements related to both NFB National Convention and conventions of NFB state affiliates held throughout the year and to answer convention-related questions. Are you looking for a roommate, or do you have space in a hotel room, then this is the place to let others know. Announcements concerning streaming, the agenda, related meetings, food, transportation arrangements, and other convention-related matters are all appropriate for this list. The list is moderated -- which means that all posts must be approved before they appear on the list. Only NFB related fund-raising messages will be allowed on this list on a limited basis (e.g. an affiliate, national division, chapter or local division may post one announcement regarding its offerings at the exhibit table at the national convention) or other NFB convention -- no hard sell please. Please include contact information on all message submissions. The list is moderated by David Andrews. Subscribing to NFB-Conventions
Subscribe to NFB-Conventions by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.
